We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our fast-paced finance team. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse team of passionate professionals who are committed to providing high-quality financial services. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our company, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements, and contributing to financial decision-making processes that will drive our business growth.
Responsibilities
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
• Oversee budget and financial management.
• Perform monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts.
• Coordinate and complete annual audits.
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
• Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
• Plan, assign and review staff’s work.
• Support month-end and year-end close process.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Liaise with our Financial manager and Accounting manager to improve financial procedures.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.
• Advanced degree in Accounting or CPA is a plus.
• Proven experience as a financial controller, accounting supervisor, chief or senior accountant.
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures.
• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
• Expertise in QuickBooks is mandatory.
• Strong analytical skills with detail-oriented approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
