The Senior Accountant manages financial operations, ensures accurate financial reporting, and maintains compliance with accounting principles. Key responsibilities include tax compliance (Income Tax, TDS, GST), financial reporting, and handling overall aspects of accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Tax Compliance: Oversee Income Tax, TDS, PT, EPF, and GST filings.
• Month-End/ Year-End Close: Lead closing processes and ensure timely completion.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct analysis to support management decisions.
• Internal Controls: Implement and review internal control procedures.
• Team Leadership: Mentor junior staff and ensure accurate accounting practices.
Skills And Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CA Inter or related field.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in accounting and taxation.
• Financial Knowledge: Strong grasp of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent at financial analysis and problem-solving.
• Communication: Effective verbal and written communication.
• Organization: Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Tally.
