Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
Proven experience as a financial controller, accounting supervisor, chief or senior accountant
Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Familiarity with financial accounting statements
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
Expertise in QuickBooks is mandatory
Strong analytical skills with detail-oriented approach
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills
Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our company, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements, and contributing to financial decision-making processes that will drive our business growth
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures
Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
Oversee budget and financial management
Perform monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts
Coordinate and complete annual audits
Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
Plan, assign and review staff’s work
Support month-end and year-end close process
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
