We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our team
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, specifically within the finance industry, and preferably with mutual funds
To be successful in this role, you will need
A minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the finance industry
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
Proficiency in Excel and other accounting software
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

As a Senior Accountant, your primary duties will include
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for both internal and external recipients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and regulations
Recording and verifying a variety of complex financial transactions in the form of journal entries
Utilizing your strong Excel skills to manage and analyze large amounts of data, create financial models, and streamline accounting processes
Performing variance analysis on balance sheet and income statement accounts, identifying discrepancies, researching their causes, and implementing necessary corrections
Conducting ad hoc analysis to support decision-making processes and provide insights into financial performance
Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to gather information, resolve issues, and improve overall financial operations
