Payable team.
This role will support the financial operations of business, ensuring efficiency and
accuracy in recording of transactions, compliance with company policies, and
accurate reporting.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, a solid
understanding of financial processes, experience in handling vast volume of
transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Invoice Processing:
• Review and validate invoices for accuracy and compliance with governing taxation
laws and company’s policies.
• Ensure timely processing of payments to vendors and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate records of invoices and payments in the accounting system.
2. Reconciliation:
• Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts payable ledgers and vendor
statements.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues related to payments or invoices.
• Support internal stakeholders in periodic reconciliation process.
3. Reporting:
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports related to
accounts
payable.
4. Compliance:
• Ensure adherence to local regulations like TDS, GST, foreign remittance, etc. and
internal policies related to accounts payable processes.
5. Process Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounts payable
function.
• Collaborate with team members to implement best practices and streamline
workflows.
6. Vendor Management:
• Maintain relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders and address
inquiries or issues as needed.
• Assist in onboarding new vendors and ensuring compliance with company
requirements.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in accounts payable or finance analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle huge volume of transactions.
