We are in search of a proficient Sr. Accountant to join our team in Anderson, Indiana. The Sr. Accountant will be integral to our operations within the manufacturing sector. This role will involve handling financial matters such as budgeting, forecasting, and account reconciliation, among others.
Responsibilities
• Handle account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare and post journal entries in the general ledger
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and report generation
• Conduct month-end close procedures
• Implement and manage the budgeting and forecasting processes
• Utilize SAP for various financial operations
• Handle other tasks and responsibilities that may be assigned within the scope of the role.
Requirements
• The applicant must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, and Journal Entries is required.
• Prior experience with Month End Close is necessary.
• The applicant must have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with SAP is vital.
• The candidate should have experience with Budgeting and Forecasting.
• The role requires a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and laws.
• The applicant must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
• The candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy is required.
• The applicant should have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• The role requires the ability to meet strict deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
