We have recently partnered with a CPA firm in Towson, MD to provide them with a Senior Accountant. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.
Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Senior Accountant:
#1. Must have experience with QuickBooks online
#2. Must have experience working in a family office, private company, or public accounting focused on bookkeeping, compilation of financial statements with supporting schedules, and recording necessary adjusting journal entries.
#3. Must be local and commute to the Towson office. For the first +0 days, it will be expected to be in office full time. After that, candidates can follow our hybrid schedule of 2 days per week in office.
Requirements of the Senior Accountant:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree in Business Administration or Finance is a plus. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a family office, private company, or public accounting, focusing on bookkeeping, financial statement compilation with supporting schedules, and recording necessary adjusting journal entries. Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail. Extensive knowledge of accounting software and financial reporting. Ability to think strategically and develop policies and procedures to enhance efficiency. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely. Professional certification as a CPA, CFA, or in a related field is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Experience with QuickBooks Online.
