Position: Senior Accountant - Banking & Finance
Qualification: Inter CA
Experience: 8 to 13 years

Job description
Roles and Responsibilities
• Oversee, resolve and reconcile general accounting functions and matters, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, Asset management, subsidiary accounts, profit and loss, balance sheet, statutory books and records, etc.
• Banking Transaction and Banking Reconciliations
• Secure, analyze and summarize financial information by completing database backups regularly
• Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
• Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
• Perform financial analysis and reporting to management
• Accounting up-to finalization
• Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
• Assist with tax audits and tax returns, handle Income Tax Scrutiny, Taxation functions including assessment of both direct & indirect tax
• Review, recommend and liaise with our CA and Directors to improve financial procedures and accounting system by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations
• Participate in financial standards setting and forecast process
• Handle Statutory Norms like GST, TDS, Profession Tax, Income Tax, etc.
• Supervise and manage accounting team of junior accountants
• Avoid legal challenges by complying with legal requirements
• Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions
• Protect organizations value by keeping information confidential
Desired Candidate Profile
• Inter CA / Commerce Graduate candidate with 8+ yrs of relevant experience .
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Dynamic, Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
• Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Power-point
• ERP Software Like Tally.
• Statutory Compliance like TDS and GST •
• Audit & Accounting Reports • Bank Reconciliation & MIS Reporting •Effective Decision Making, Independent Team Handling and Supervision • Travel Flexibility for work related trips
