We are now seeking applicants for our Senior Accountant role in Bangalore. This opportunity is a critical role that provides remote support to the ongoing success of each of our branch operations.
Candidates are required to work from 2:00pm to 10:00pm

About the role:
This role is a role combined from Accounting & Anaylsis positions that will involve accountancy, technical, analytical and partnership support that drives business success. Its major focus will on capital expenditures and fixed assets in particular working on technology projects across upcoming years. Some key duties include but are not limited to;
Analyze proposed project spends for capitalization eligibility to ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and International Financial Reporting Standards.
Develop and manage a collaborative process with project sponsors and managers to accurately track and report all incurred project spend on a monthly basis for financial and management reporting purposes.
Monitor and drive adherence to project governance processes, including supporting the review and completion of Project Expenditure Requisitions, and identifying areas for process improvement.
Partner with Operational and IT VPs in relation to project and capital spend, collaborating to understand the financial dynamics of each project in the context of the company’s long-term strategic plan.
Assist in development of project financials including cash flows, NPV, IRR, and ROI analyses
Educate the team and business on financial policies and processes (e.g. project tracking, forecasting and budgeting) and identify areas for process improvement.
Actioning a variety of financial reports on a regular basis to ensure business & projects goals remain on target
Who are we looking for?

As an excellent communicator you flourish in an a business partnering environment – providing insight and advice on your area of expertise to support their department success. Attributes you require include
University degree, with a business, finance or accounting focus; CPA designation also preferred
Minimum 5 years of work experience in an accounting role with direct involvement in capital assets
Strong technical knowledge in accounting, with a particular emphasis on IAS 16 Property, Plant and Equipment, IAS 38 Intangible assets accounting standards. Prior experience in capital asset accounting and accounting for internally generated intangible assets is an asset.
Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills
Advanced Excel skills. Working experience with VBA/macros is desirable
