Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Coordinate audits and ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/Inter CA preferred).
Proven work experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role (4+ years).
Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
Proficiency in Tally, Excel, and accounting software.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
