Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS. Manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial transactions. Perform account reconciliations, including bank statements, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany accounts. Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes. Analyze financial data and prepare variance reports, explaining significant deviations from budget or forecast. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial reporting. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional accounting certification (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) is highly desirable. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with a strong focus on financial reporting. In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and/or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks Enterprise) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis. Strong understanding of internal controls and audit procedures. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
