Job Description:
Samvedna Development Society (SDS) is seeking a talented and motivated Finance Manager to join our team. As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a focus on NGO accounting and organizational compliances. Responsibilities:
• Oversee all financial activities of the organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and financial statements to provide accurate and timely information to management and stakeholders.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and tax requirements.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard organizational assets.
• Provide guidance and support to program managers in financial planning, budgeting, and grant management.
• Collaborate with external auditors, donors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth financial audits and reporting.
• Monitor and evaluate financial performance, identify areas of improvement, and recommend strategies for financial sustainability.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience in accounting, finance, NGO accounting, or organizational compliances.
• Strong hands-on experience in financial management and accounting software.
• Prior experience with a CA firm or internship will be an added advantage.
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in using MS Office applications, including advanced Excel skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary and Benefits:
• Competitive salary range of 25,000 to 30,000 INR per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
