Title: Senior Accountant
Salary: $135K - $150K + 20% bonus
Bonus – eligible for 2 cash incentives listed below
• QIP (Quarterly Incentive Plan) – 8% target payout of employee’s quarterly earnings. Has averaged a 6% - 6 1/2 % payout over the past several years. This pays out approximately 6 weeks after each quarter ends.
• 10% Annual bonus plan
• 5% - Long-term incentive
Hybrid Schedule: 3 days in office/2 days home
Need manufacturing, cost and inventory experience
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
May include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of the monthly close process, including accruals, month-end allocations, settlement of internal orders (maintenance, capex & other), product costing, and inventory valuations.
• Ensures the completeness and accuracy of manufacturing statement and P&L.
• Assists plant managers with monitoring and controlling costs, as well as analyzing and reporting significant fluctuations from budget, forecast, or other periods as requested.
• Ensures compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Handles any additional responsibilities or tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
• B.S. Degree in Accounting or equivalent with seven plus years of progressive accounting experience in both public accounting and the private sector is required, preferably with a manufacturing company.
• CPA designation and/or Masters degree required.
• Knowledge of general financial and cost accounting, financial investment techniques, and financial statement preparation is required.
• Previous supervisory experience desired.
• Knowledge of computerized accounting systems including SAP and SAP BPC is critical to the position.
• Applicant should be proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel (required), and BPC.
