Job Summary:
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes. You will contribute to month-end closings, problem-solve, and improve processes to align accounting with Pattern's future objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Closings: Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and reporting with appropriate GAAP treatment.
• Process Improvement: Provide solutions to streamline and speed up the month-end close process.
• Accounting Research: Research accounting guidance and analyze its impact on the Company.
• Audits: Complete annual independent financial and statutory audits.
• Financial Analysis: Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, forecasts, and historical financials.
• Reporting: Provide reporting and solutions for ad-hoc information requests.
• Internal Controls: Ensure effective internal controls are in place to comply with GAAP and applicable regulations.
• Team Support: Support the Accounting Manager and work directly with the accounting team to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Customer Service: Provide the highest level of internal and external customer service, responding to inquiries and addressing issues.
• Reconciliations: Regularly maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts.
Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Accounting required.
• CA or CPA equivalent.
• 3-5 years of public accounting experience in a similar role.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Self-directed and team-oriented.
• Excellent professional communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Fluent in English.
