What You’ll Do
As a Senior Accountant at Tabcorp, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our general ledger. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you’ll lead key aspects of the month-end close, review complex journal entries, and manage assigned balance sheet areas using Oracle Fusion and ARCS.
You'll also:
Drive timely and accurate month-end close processes and contribute to the monthly balance sheet reporting pack
Review and approve journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare high-impact reconciliations and financial analysis
Support internal and external audits with clear, accurate documentation
Identify and deliver process improvements and automation opportunities
Partner with stakeholders across finance to support strategic initiatives whilst also collaborating with our offshore support team to coach and build capability
What You’ll Bring
You’re a qualified and collaborative accounting professional with experience navigating large, fast-paced environments. You combine technical expertise with a proactive mindset and the ability to influence stakeholders across the business. You’ll bring:
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance, and CPA or CA certification.
3+ years post-qualification experience in financial accounting within industry or professional services.
Expertise in Australian Accounting Standards and audit practices.
Strong ERP experience (Oracle preferred).
Excellent analytical, reconciliation and reporting skills and a track record of driving process improvements and change initiatives.
Experience working in a BPO or shared services environment, plus an external audit background would be highly regarded
