Job Title: Senior Accountant
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Accountant with 5-6 years of experience in a Private Limited company. The ideal candidate should have experience managing 20-30Cr in revenue and should possess expertise in Foreign Trade, FEMA compliance, Employee PF ESIC, GST filing & reporting to the company CFO. The position is for a VR headset manufacturing company called QWR, which has B2B, B2G & D2C business models with both online and offline sales and manufacturing of the product as cash flow.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with accounting principles and standards
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including ensuring timely payments and collections
• Monitor cash flow and financial transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to provide meaningful insights to management
• Manage the company's tax filings and ensure compliance with all statutory regulations
• Perform regular reviews of the company's financial performance and provide recommendations for improvements
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure that financial information is accurate and up-to-date
• Assist with financial audits and provide information as needed
• Manage the payroll function and ensure timely and accurate processing of employee salaries and benefits
• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff and ensure that their work is accurate and timely
• Keep abreast of changes in accounting regulations and ensure that the company is in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5-6 years of experience in a Private Limited company
• Expertise in Foreign Trade, FEMA compliance, Employee PF ESIC, GST filing & reporting to the company CFO
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
