Full job description
We seek a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with accounting software such as Busy and Tally and proficiency in filing GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and compliance regulations and excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations using Busy Accounting Software.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
Handle all aspects of GST compliance, including GSTR2B reconciliation, filing returns and making payments.
Ensure timely filing of TDS returns and manage related documentation.
File accurate Income Tax returns and assist with audits and assessments when required.
Reconcile bank statements, vendor payments, and other accounts to ensure accuracy.
Monitor and control accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
Budgeting and tax planning on a periodic basis.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes and prepare financial reports for management.
Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Stay updated on changes in financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CA Inter or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting roles, with specific expertise in Busy and Tally software.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Busy and Tally ERP for accounting and financial management.
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax rules and regulations.
Experience in filing returns and handling tax assessments.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
