As the Senior Accountant you will be involved in …
Leading the end-to-end process for Fixed Assets and Capital Lease accounting, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timing on the recording of all related transactions
Providing insights to best practices and proactively identify opportunities to refine processes to drive efficiencies in the accounting and reporting of Fixed Assets / Capital Leases
Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders across the organization to implement process improvements
Partnering closely with internal stakeholders, including Capital Projects and FP&A as a subject matter expert on Fixed Assets / Capital lease accounting and procedures, providing accounting guidance and answering queries as needed
Ensuring SOX controls are performed, evidenced, and updated as needed
Performing detailed variance analysis and prepare and/or review account reconciliations, journal entries and supporting working papers in support of month end closing process and consolidation
Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, including consolidations and elimination entries between subsidiaries at a consolidated level in a multi-currency environment
Coaching junior team members, review their work and provide coaching and feedback as necessary
Performing other ad hoc duties as needed
You would be the best fit for this role if you have…
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
CPA designation
5+ years’ experience of relevant accounting experience
Public company accounting experience is preferred
Experience in account reconciliations, preferably in settings with multiple entities across different currencies
Effective time-management and prioritization skills in a deadline-driven environment
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Attention to detail with an analytical mindset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Sound business acumen
Process-oriented
Bonus points if you have…
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
