The Opportunity
As a Senior Accountant on a 12‑month fixed term contract, you will be responsible for the financial management of a portfolio of retail assets, delivering accurate month‑end reporting, budgets and forecasts while providing meaningful commercial insights to the business. Partnering closely with Centre Managers, Asset Managers and Finance stakeholders, you’ll help support decision‑making through strong technical accounting, operational finance delivery and continuous improvement.
How you will make an impact
Own the end‑to‑end financial management of a portfolio of retail assets, including month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end reporting.
Prepare accurate budgets and forecasts, partnering closely with Centre and Asset Managers to support commercial decision‑making.
Deliver high‑quality management reporting, including variance analysis and insightful commentary for internal and external stakeholders.
Oversee operational property finance activities such as outgoings, audits, turnover rent, GST/BAS and tenancy schedule validation.
Act as a trusted finance business partner, driving continuous improvement, process efficiencies and automation across reporting and finance operations.
About You
CA or CPA qualified, with relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum 3+ years’ experience in financial or management accounting, ideally within retail property or a complex asset‑based environment.
Strong technical accounting knowledge with experience delivering month‑end reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
Advanced Excel skills with experience using property or financial reporting systems (e.g. Yardi, TM1 or similar).
Proven ability to partner with stakeholders, manage competing deadlines and drive continuous improvement in a fast‑paced environment.
