Assurance brings this to life by helping clients further enhance financial performance and operations and gain an understanding of the commercial issues facing their business, alongside the delivery of audit services.
As a Senior Associate in our Financial Services team your impact will be seen by:
Executing all aspects of audit and statutory reporting for large proprietary and listed organisations across Banking & Capital Markets, Insurance, Asset Management and Real Estate industries.
Working with other teams to collaborate and develop Financial Audit strategies and methodologies for our clients
Analysing and documenting of internal controls and control environments
Coaching and mentor junior colleagues and build internal relationships
About you
You have a background in a client facing role and are analytical with a keen interest in the financial system. You demonstrate:
Experience with design of audit tests and testing controls, and ability to identify significant risks in audit planning
Deep technical knowledge of accounting and audit principles with the ability to analyse clients’ financial reporting issues
Competence in providing advice to clients on issues faced in relation to reporting and address client requests for assistance on a timely basis
An understanding of commercial issues facing business and apply that understanding to your work
A sound ability to engage and influence clients, and to build and maintain strong relationships
Leadership capability and enthusiasm for coaching
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment, contributing to a positive team spirit
Commitment to the ongoing development and expansion of technical knowledge.
