Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate tax compliance and advisory work for clients, ensuring seamless delivery of services.
Review Individual, Trust, and Estate tax returns with attention to detail and technical expertise.
Lead client relationships on day-to-day tax matters, supporting partners with service execution and development of extended services.
Conduct research and consult on technical matters and special projects, staying up-to-date with industry developments.
Proactively build relationships and communicate effectively with clients to provide superior client service.
Actively participate in business development efforts, working collaboratively with partners and marketing professionals to target and build relationships with client prospects.
Manage, train, and develop staff, participating in the performance review process to ensure growth and development.
Achieve thorough technical competency and industry-specific expertise through continuous learning and professional development.
Review tax-related information, including tax provisions, depreciation schedules, property tax returns, and more.
Lead multi-disciplined client service teams for account planning, ensuring alignment with client goals.
Prepare and review client correspondence, maintaining clear and effective communication.
Participate in firm-sponsored events for industry-specific and/or regional clients and prospects, building relationships and networking opportunities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
CPA certification preferred; candidates actively pursuing certification will be considered.
At least 2-3+ years of job-related experience required, preferably in accounting and/or tax services.
Prior management and/or mentoring experience with other staff members is highly valued.
Subject matter leader in similar accounting and/or tax services, with a proven track record of success.
Ability to make recommendations to management and drive decision-making.
Prior public accounting experience desired, but not required.

Compensation
Competitive salary range: $75,000 - $116,000, with annual discretionary bonuses based on performance and firm targets. Benefits include 8 health plan options, dental and vision coverage, and more. Eligibility for benefits programs varies by position status, location, and annual hours expectation.
