Senior Accountant - US Accounting (Remote)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Accountant with expertise in US GAAP and experience managing accounting operations for US-based entities.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Accounting Operations: Oversee end-to-end accounting operations for US-based clients/entities under US GAAP.
Team Management: Lead and supervise a team of accountants; manage work allocation, performance reviews, and training.
Financial Statement Review: Review and finalize financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger activities.
Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Ensure compliance with US accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
Analysis and Insights: Prepare, review, and analyze P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports to support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Experience and Skillset Required:
Certification: Qualified Accountant (CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent).
Education: M.Com or MBA (Finance) with strong hands-on experience in US Accounting (minimum 3+ years).
Experience: 8+ years overall experience in accounting and finance, including at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
US Accounting Experience: At least 3 years of direct experience in US Accounting/US GAAP.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, or similar platforms, and strong command of Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to manage remote teams across time zones, highly organized, deadline-oriented, and detail-focused.
Working Schedule:
Monday to Friday, flexible hours with overlap to US time zones as needed.
