About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Accounting Professional to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting, and providing strategic support to our business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Maintain and improve internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement effective accounting systems and processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Provide guidance and support to junior staff members and other departments on accounting-related matters.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in accounting and finance roles, ideally within the financial services or banking industry.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and reporting standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
