Main Responsibilities:
• Monthly Management Accounts Preparation:
Prepare and review comprehensive financial statements, including Profit & Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet for multiple properties.
Evaluate accuracy and consistency in financial reports, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures.
• Business Partnering & Stakeholder Communication:
Collaborate closely with Finance Managers in the UK and Operations teams to guarantee the accuracy of monthly management accounts.
Analyze financial results and variances, providing detailed explanations and addressing queries to enhance business understanding.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to clarify discrepancies and improve financial reporting processes.
• VAT Returns:
Prepare and review VAT returns for properties in compliance with local tax regulations.
• Property-Focused Financial Analysis:
Support the financial management of a portfolio of properties, including a new fund with four properties and a Spanish property.
Work collaboratively with local teams to ensure that all financial and operational aspects are accurately reflected in financial accounts.
