Job Summary:The Assistant Manager - Finance will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, reporting, and analysis to support business decisions. This role involves ensuring compliance with financial regulations, optimizing financial processes, and providing insights to improve financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
Accounting & Compliance:
Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
Maintain compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits.
Cash Flow Management:
Monitor daily cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts.
Assist in managing banking relationships and optimizing working capital.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and internal controls.
Implement automation tools for efficiency in reporting and analysis.
Team Collaboration & Support:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.
Provide guidance and training to junior finance staff.
Special Projects:
Support ad-hoc financial projects as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's/MBA is a plus).
Professional certification (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA) is advantageous.
5+ years of relevant experience in finance and accounting roles.
Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally) and MS Excel.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to tasks.
