Ocho are delighted to partner with a leading global financial services organisation that is expanding its well-established tech hub in Belfast. They are currently seeking to recruit a talented Front End Software Engineers at either the Senior or Principal level to join their dynamic team.
About the Role:
As a Front End Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects within the FinTech space. You’ll be involved in designing and developing user interfaces using modern technologies such as React and TypeScript. Additionally, you’ll gain full-stack exposure, including some work with Java, contributing to a seamless and intuitive user experience across financial platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable web applications using React, TypeScript, and related UI architecture tooling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including back-end developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers, to deliver robust and user-friendly software solutions.
• Participate in full-stack development, including integrating front-end interfaces with Java-based back-end services.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices within the team.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and apply them to enhance the product's performance and user experience.

• Extensive experience in front-end development, particularly with React and TypeScript.

• Experience with full-stack development, including Java, is a plus.

• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software in a fast-paced, agile environment.
