This role requires extensive litigation experience and CA Bar admission.Duties:Manage a caseload involving complex legal issues related to emerging technology, AI, data privacy, and consumer class actions
Evaluate new cases and prepare comprehensive case proposals
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis
Develop and recommend effective case strategies
Draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents in file-ready form
Oversee the filing process for motions and briefs.Prepare, finalize, and serve stipulations, discovery letters, joint statements, and proposed orders
Correspond with co-counsel, opposing counsel, court personnel, and clients as necessary.Draft, propound, review, and respond to discovery; manage discovery disputes
Prepare for and take/defend depositions
Attend mediations, arbitrations, and court hearings
Take arguments at mediations, arbitrations, and court hearings
Attend and/or lead team and firm meetings
