Senior Associate Financial Reporting Accounting

What will your essential responsibilities include?Preparation of US & Bermuda balance sheet reconciliations including payroll and other compensation accounts.Booking and reconciliations of Short term and long-term incentive awards including forfeiture and PV adjustments.Intercompany reconciliations and settlements for Bermuda & USBalance sheet & Profit and Loss analysis and commentaries, retained earning balance analysis, investigation of intercompany imbalance and analysis of investment in sub and equity positionBooking of Corporate accruals received from Global Controllers and other finance regional contacts.Booking of manual adjustments to incorporate legal entity, operating unit & other chart fields level restructuring in GL.Handling end to end accounting and preparation of Financial Statements of HVCT & XLF (process is part of accounting for charitable trust and foundations).Managing US payroll activities involving booking of open bank transactions, payroll wires, payroll accruals, payroll liability reconciliations and HR/GL reconciliations.Preparation of AP Accrued and Other Assets/Liability schedulesPreparation of Fixed Asset Cash flow ScheduleRunning of macros for updating the database relating to above-mentioned processes.Handling of ad-hoc queries related to the process on a regular basis.Assist in quarterly close & reporting process and adhere to time schedules.Assisting in various audits - Statutory (PWC), SOX and Internal Audit.Coordinate with team in completing various deliverables and urgent request during peak volume timeframe.SHARE your talentWere looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:Graduate/ Post Graduate with at least 1-2 years of post-qualification experience in accounting and financial reporting.Strong communication & interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal/external teams across the globe.Intermediate IT skills (MS Excel, MS Access, Word)Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Organized, methodical, able to deal effectively with multiple priorities and do multitasking
