You should possess the following qualifications:
• Experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams in managing and resolving various New Product Introduction (NPI) cycles for high-volume consumer electronics, including on-site issue resolution at manufacturing locations.
• Comprehensive understanding of the product development cycle, including timeline estimations, product execution, design decision impacts, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.
• Ability to maintain composure during urgent requests and resolve complex issues efficiently.
• Proven ability to negotiate compromises between high-value designs, benefiting maximum results with minimal risks and schedule impacts.
• Deep knowledge in areas such as advanced surfacing, plastic injection-molding, castings, sheet metal design, additive manufacturing, battery integration, mechanisms, IP ratings, testing, tooling, audio equipment, sensors, and cameras.
• Expertise in using CAD software (e.g., NX, SolidWorks, CREO).
• Proficient in product design, material selection, tolerancing, failure analysis, and root cause analysis.
• Experience in developing functional specifications and test procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and utilize Product Data Management (PDM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools.
• Broad understanding of product execution across various disciplines including industrial design, electrical engineering, mechanical design, and firmware.
• High level of initiative, ownership, and self-motivation.
• Ability to present your work professionally, accept constructive feedback, learn from mistakes, and engage in difficult discussions.
• A dedicated team player motivated by the success of shipping products and overall team achievements.
The expected salary for this position ranges from $77,000 to $202,000. Actual compensation will vary based on skills, experience, qualifications, and location. Eligible hires will receive an annual discretionary bonus. PwC provides a variety of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, holiday pay, and more.
