Senior Attorney, Aviation

Qualifications
This can be remote, although the individual would ideally be able to travel to Denver, Colorado once a quarter
JD degree
Must be a state bar member in good standing
Ideally, 7+ years of substantial transactional experience driving complex agreements within a fast-moving environment, including a combination of law firm training and in-house counsel experience
Similar experience to the above in non-aerospace/aviation sectors, particularly if involving significant coordination with the supply chain and engineering functions
Aviation operations legal experience
Ideally good working knowledge of intellectual property matters
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to distill complex concepts into cohesive, intelligible, and concise explanations
Track record of providing actionable, proactive, commercially minded, and strategic legal advice and risk mitigation strategies
Organized, with demonstrated strength in process management
Ability to make sound legal decisions under tight deadlines and evaluate risks in light of business concerns, including in the face of imperfect information

Working closely with our Associate General Counsel, this person will focus on aerospace/aviation matters with a heavy emphasis on drafting, negotiating, and managing many complex contracts in connection with RFPs for aerospace/aviation goods and services. The individual will partner closely with the supply chain and engineering teams as they work with suppliers that are among the most sophisticated companies in the world.

Qualifications:

· Experience preferred with the aerospace/aviation supply chain driven RFP and contracting process (OEM/supplier-side or customer-side)
