We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Attorney specialized in Litigation to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling insurance law cases and managing complex litigation matters. This is a permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to work with a team of experienced professionals in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
• Manage all phases of litigation from inception to resolution, including trials, arbitrations, mediations, appeals, and settlement negotiations.
• Provide legal advice and representation to clients in insurance law matters.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to identify potential legal issues and develop effective solutions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and settlement agreements.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and team members.
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and legal staff.
• Stay current with developments in insurance law and related areas of legal practice.
• Participate in business development activities to expand the firm's client base and enhance its reputation in the legal community.
Qualifications
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
• 7-10 years of experience in litigation, with a strong emphasis on Civil Litigation
