£35,000 - £40,000
Butler Rose Public Practice are delighted to be supporting this highly prestigious and prominent Top 50 firm of accountants conveniently located in Central London that are eager to appoint a skilled and experienced Senior Bookkeeper to compliment the existing outsourced accounts team.
Role Requirements -
Support a diverse portfolio of mainly SME clients with day-to-day bookkeeping and management accounting obligations.
Prepare and review Quarterly VAT returns.
Prepare and review monthly and quarterly management accounts to include consolidations and cash flows.
Review the work of more junior members of the team and support their continuous development.
Liaise with clients as appropriate and resolve any queries they may have.
Ensure a high level of service to meet clients' expectations.
Person Requirements -
Ideally AAT qualified or ACCA/ACA early-stage studier with at least 4+ years' experience as a bookkeeper/management accountant working for a prominent UK based firm of accountants.
Strong practical exposure to producing management accounts, preparing VAT returns, as well as daily bookkeeping.
Proficient in the use of cloud accounting software such as XERO and Quickbooks and also Dext.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
