Responsibilities
Provide land development consultancy services to developers across a wide range of projects — projects range from large-scale master-planned residential, commercial and industrial developments to infill projects and small residential projects.
Manage a team of 5 civil engineers who are designing and preparing civil engineering drawings with top-notch quality.
Provide desgin reviews to staff
Keep projects on schedule and within budget.
Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and external consultants.
Manage project elements and coordinate with contractors.
Handle schedules, contracts, resource consents, and liaise with local councils.
Champion our Quality Management and Health & Safety policies.
Assist with technical development and comply with admin requirements

Mentor junior staff
Experience
A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or Surveying (e.g., BEng, BSurv)
Minimum 5+ years Civil Engineering with 2+ years of experience in land development in New Zealand required
CPEng or RPSurv (not required)
Experience with 12D and/or Civil 3D
Strong technical report writing and communication skills
A collaborative mindset and a genuine “can-do” attitude
Engineer leadership experience with mentoring junior staff is ideal.
Project management experience.
