Job Description
Elevate is recruiting for a Senior Commercial Attorney to join our high-performing team. We provide consulting, technology, and services to law departments and law firms, offering practical ways to improve efficiency, quality, and business outcomes.
Specifically, the Senior Commercial Attorney will
• Lead on a wide range of client projects and complex matters profitably and to a consistently high standard.
• Provide support to the Director of Legal Operations in the region as required.
• Work effectively as part of a team, to build relationships quickly and to engage effectively with internal and external client stakeholders.
• Help embed systems and processes within the team and ensure they are applied and followed to produce high quality output.
• Demonstrate leadership and take personal responsibility for promoting and role modelling the firms' values.
• Develop colleagues by mentoring/coaching, reviewing performance and helping plan their development.
• Help drive improvements in the team's performance by monitoring and reporting on performance against agreed SLAs.
• This Employment contract for a period of 6 months with potential to be extended.
Experience
• Experience in Banking & Finance, Commercial Contracting, Real Estate within a law firm or in-house role.
Skills For Success
• Additional language capabilities are desirable (French, German, Spanish, Italian)
• A passion for quality, including excellent attention to detail.
• A positive, collaborative, proactive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English
• Ability to meet tight deadlines without sacrificing quality of client service.
