The role is designed to provide guidance and direction to consumers of cloud & infrastructure services on best fit strategic services and products for their application needs, and consequently providing technical architecture solutions using said services to fulfil their application requirements with a focus on providing solutions for tenants of customer network platforms. Working closely with the engineering, enterprise architecture, cyber security and operations, this role is accountable for developing technical solutions and placing workloads / solutions on various strategic cloud platforms.
The candidate needs to:
• Translate business requirements into Cloud & Infrastructure solutions.
• Clearly communicate technical solutions and recommendations to the stakeholder group in business context.
• Work together with various teams for common business purposes and mutual success.
• Provide innovative solutions to ensure business growth.
• Demonstrate flexibility in dealing with changing demands, ambiguity, and uncertainty.
• Proactively identifying issues and opportunities and taking responsibility for tasks and decisions in a timely manner.
• Focus on identifying and driving forward strategic opportunities from concept to reality.
Required Skills:
Hands on experience required for the following Azure Skills.
• Sentinel/Defender: Azure Defender, Azure Sentinel, Kusto (dashboards customisations)
• AKS: Azure Kubernetes Services, AKS Network, AKS Identity, AKS Security, AKS Monitoring, Istio Mesh, ACR, Microservices deployment using CI/CD
• Azure Policies / DevOps: Azure Kubernetes Services - AKS Security, AKS CI/CD, AKS Monitoring
• Azure Infra / DevSecOps: Azure Infrastructure, Azure Management, CI/CD - DevOps, Terraform
• Azure Data Services: SQL, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Databricks
• Azure App Services: App Services, Event Grid, Event Hubs, Batch, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Microservices (AKS, App Containers)
• App Migration: Migration to App Services, Event Grid, Event Hubs, Batch, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Microservices (AKS, App Containers)
Desired Skills:
• Experience in cloud migrations to Azure.
• AZ 305 Certification.
Qualification:
• BE/B Tech.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
