Senior Customer Team Lead- Quebec

This position is remote/field based, supporting regional retailers primarily in Quebec. This position requires an individual who is bilingual in English and French.

What You Will Do

The Sr. Customer Team Lead, Quebec, is responsible for developing a team to build strategic business relationships with key banners in the Quebec region. This role will collaborate across internal & external partners at multiple levels to accelerate brand growth and effectively negotiate win/win solutions in the omnichannel marketplace. The Sr. Customer Team Lead, Quebec is an experienced People Leader who encourages diverse perspectives & creates room for candid discussion while enabling each individual to act with an owner mind-set. They have the proven ability to manage multiple priorities while focus the energy of their team in a way that delivers maximum impact.

Key Responsibilities

Leading a team of 7 individuals (direct and indirect reports/ Account Managers & Shopper Marketing Manager) to identifying trends and shape category stories through insights
On-the job coaching & development of team members
Set and align teams’ work with organizational priorities
Collaborating with cross-functional partners internally and externally to build trusted relationships and shape business plans – both short & longer term
Contributing to and implementing brand strategies at select customers
Leading annual negotiations within customer P&L parameters
Strategic thinking, challenging the status quo and managing through barriers effectively; maximizes impact through strategy and joint partnerships with retailers
This role requires travel within Quebec and to Head Office in Markham Ontario (approximately 3-5 times/year)
This role would require 20% travel to customer meetings (mainly in Quebec) and team meetings.
Qualifications

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

A University degree is required, preferably in Business, Marketing or other related field
Bilingual French/English, both written & spoken, is required
A minimum of 6 years of experience in sales, marketing/customer strategy, and customer development
Minimum 3 years leading people; change management leadership experience preferred
Desired Qualifications

Strategic problem solver and ability to craft business plans for short term and long-term thinking
In-depth computer skills, with the ability to create, manipulate, revise, and modify data, documents, presentations, and spreadsheets is required
Proven track record of coaching a high performing team and is recognized as team player
Experience working and leading others through business transformation
Analytical/category management experience & prior experience calling on Quebec retailers
Strong understanding of P&L, trade spend management and business forecasting
Significant negotiation experience at different levels with the ability to prepare/shape negotiation strategy to deliver win/win agreements
Strategic thinker and ability to shape business plans for short term and long term
Knowledge of eCommerce business models and ability to execute against them
Advanced in Excel, NeilsenIQ and Tableau

Responsabilités clés

Diriger une équipe de 7 personnes (Gestionnaires de comptes et Responsable du marketing client) pour identifier les tendances et façonner les récits de catégorie grâce à des insights.
Coaching et développement des membres de l'équipe.
Définir et aligner le travail de l'équipe avec les priorités de l'organisation.
Collaborer avec des partenaires multifonctions internes et externes pour établir des relations de confiance et façonner des plans d'affaires – à court et à long terme.
Contribuer à et mettre en œuvre des stratégies de marque chez certains clients.
Diriger les négociations annuelles dans les paramètres P&L du client.
Pensée stratégique, remise en question du statu quo et gestion efficace des obstacles ; maximiser l'impact grâce à une stratégie et à des partenariats conjoints avec les détaillants.
Ce poste nécessite des déplacements à travers le Québec et au bureau principal à Markham, Ontario, environ 3 à 5 fois par an.
Ce poste nécessitera 20 % de déplacements pour des réunions avec les clients et des réunions d'équipe.
Ce que nous recherchons

Qualifications requises

Un diplôme universitaire est requis, de préférence en affaires, marketing ou dans un domaine connexe.
Bilingue français/anglais, à l'écrit et à l'oral, est requis.
Un minimum de 6 ans d'expérience en ventes, stratégie marketing/client et développement client.
Minimum de 3 ans d'expérience en gestion d'équipe ; une expérience en gestion du changement est souhaitée.
Qualifications souhaitées

Capacité à résoudre des problèmes stratégiques avec la capacité d'élaborer des plans d'affaires pour une réflexion à court et à long terme.
Compétences informatiques approfondies, avec la capacité de créer, manipuler, réviser et modifier des données, des documents, des présentations et des tableurs sont requises.
Expérience dans le coaching d'une équipe performante.
Expérience de travail et de leadership lors de transformations d'entreprise.
Expérience en gestion analytique/catégorie et expérience antérieure dans la vente auprès de détaillants québécois.
Bonne compréhension des P&L, gestion des dépenses commerciales et prévisions commerciales.
Expérience significative en négociation à différents niveaux avec la capacité de préparer/façonner une stratégie de négociation pour parvenir à des accords gagnant/gagnant.
Penseur stratégique et capacité à façonner des plans d'affaires à court et à long terme.
Connaissance des modèles commerciaux de commerce électronique et capacité à les exécuter.
Maîtrise d'Excel, NeilsenIQ et Tableau.
