In this crucial role, you will leverage your expertise to evaluate customer specifications, conduct mechanical design calculations, and prepare detailed manufacturing drawings. Key Responsibilities
• Review contract requirements, client technical specifications, sales packages, and all design data.
• Conduct mechanical calculations, develop design details, generate fabrication drawings, and create bills of materials and instruction manuals.
• Produce general arrangement drawings, fabrication details, assembly drawings, P&ID, and Bill of Material drawings.
• Ensure fabrication drawings meet client specifications through comprehensive review.
• Issue final drawings and document packages to workshops or clients as directed.
• Prepare Installation and Operation Manuals (IOM) for client review and approval.
• Complete mechanical design projects along with the required mechanical analysis.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in the relevant product line and industry.
• Expertise in designing pressure vessels and heat exchangers according to ASME Code (Section VIII Divisions 1 and 2) and HEI Standards is required.
• Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) as per ASME code is a plus.
• Proficiency in drafting with AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Professional Engineer registration is preferred.
• Certification in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor design software is advantageous.
