We are seeking an experienced Device Engineer to join our team at Tata Electronics Private Limited, a cutting-edge manufacturing venture with expertise in precision components.
This role will focus on transferring 28-90nm technologies from partner facilities, working closely with the Fab integration team to ensure smooth transfer.
You will be responsible for device engineering responsibilities for feature additions and improvements to 28-90nm technologies, as well as assisting the business team in performance targets and cost analysis.
Additionally, you will work with the integration team on test chip layouts, meet project performance requirements, build and lead a cross-functional team across diverse geographies, establish strong customer relationships based on confidence in TEPL technical capabilities, and perform competitor benchmarking and roadmap development.
Key Qualifications:
• M.S or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Materials Science or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of device physics, process modules, yield improvement, failure mechanisms, analytical techniques (physical and electrical).
• Expertise in guiding TCAD and compact modelling teams.
• Involved in transistor development and optimization for at least one CMOS node.
• Deep knowledge of CMOS parameters and figures of merit, with experience in achieving competitive performance.
• Understanding of transistor physics and fabrication details, especially planar MOSFET and BJT.
• Ability to optimize transistors based on different implant and other process steps.
• Can design and layout E-test structures and analyze/interpret data from these structures.
Prior Experience:
• 7+ years experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Proven track record of successfully developing new technologies into high volume production.
• Proven problem-solving skills using TCAD, design of experiments, and bench tools.
