We are seeking Senior DevOps / Platform Engineers to pioneer the automation, infrastructure, and service platforms essential for the secure and efficient delivery of AI systems across various devices, the edge, and the cloud.

Location: Open to remote work in the US. The preferred work location is Chicago, IL.
What You'll Be Doing:
• CI/CD, Automation & Tooling: Design, implement, and enhance CI/CD pipelines for AI and platform teams; create automation and tooling to boost productivity; and develop infrastructure as code for cloud environments including Terraform and Bicep.
• Platform & Infrastructure Engineering: Build scalable and secure infrastructure on Azure and Kubernetes, manage hybrid systems spanning device, edge, and cloud, and enable platform services for AI workloads.
• Observability & Telemetry: Enhance observability using OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and Prometheus; ensure actionable telemetry linked to performance outcomes; and create dashboards for operational insights.
• Deployment & Release Engineering: Refine deployment processes for consistency and safety, support advanced delivery methods like canaries and staged rollouts, and enhance CI/CD tooling for hybrid AI services.
• Collaboration & Reliability Culture: Work closely with SRE, AI/ML, and product teams; engage in system design discussions emphasizing automation; and help shape platform engineering standards.
Basic Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or related fields.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP infrastructures.
• Proficient in CI/CD systems and deployment pipelines.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of observability principles including metrics and logs.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Extensive knowledge of Azure cloud architecture and DevOps tools.
• Experience with OpenTelemetry instrumentation and pipelines.
• Familiarity with Grafana, Prometheus, and similar observability tools.
• Background in supporting AI/ML workloads or GPU environments.
• Understanding of event-driven systems and data pipeline operationalization.
• Experience with on-call rotations and a dedication to automation and reliability at scale.
