The Role
You'll be working remotely as part of our project delivery team, providing technical engineering support on electrical systems for data centre builds. This is a fully remote, desk-based role — no site travel required — focused on design verification, documentation, and drawing production. As a remote team member, you must be highly comfortable working and collaborating entirely through digital tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, understand, and verify single line diagrams (SLDs)
- Read and verify project specifications and ensure design compliance
- Design cable routing layouts and size cable containment systems (trays, ladders, trunking)
- Prepare and develop shop drawings and design submissions
- Navigate and work within BIM/Navisworks models for coordination and clash detection
- Prepare and develop method statements for electrical installation works
- Prepare material approval submissions and technical submittal packages
- Prepare inspection and test plans (ITPs) for electrical installation works
- Coordinate with project and commercial teams on technical queries
What We're Looking For
- 5–8 years of experience in electrical construction/installation, preferably in data centres, industrial, or large commercial projects
- Strong understanding of LV and MV electrical distribution systems
- Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with Revit/Navisworks or other BIM tools
- Ability to interpret specifications, standards (IEC/BS), and contract documents
- Experience preparing shop drawings, method statements, material submissions, and inspection and test plans (ITPs)
- High proficiency in digital/online collaboration tools is essential — you must be comfortable working daily with OneDrive, Bluebeam Revu, Autodesk platforms, Microsoft Teams, and similar cloud-based tools. This is not optional; the role is fully remote and all coordination, file sharing, markup, and communication happens online.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good written English communication skills

- Prior experience on hyperscale data centre projects
- Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
