Overview
We are looking for a Senior Executive - Accounts to join our finance team and manage key accounting functions for our B2C brand. The ideal candidate should have 4 to 6 years of experience in handling accounting operations, tax compliance, and financial reporting. This role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Accounting Operations:
Maintain general ledger entries and ensure accurate financial records. Handle accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments and customer invoicing. Process employee reimbursements and monitor expense claims.
Tax & Compliance Management:
Ensure timely filing and reconciliation of GST, TDS, and other statutory obligations . Assist in tax audits and liaise with auditors for compliance requirements.
Bank & Financial Reconciliation:
Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy. Manage cash flow and monitor fund transfers.
Process Optimization & Coordination:
Identify process improvements to streamline accounting workflows. Collaborate with internal teams (sales, procurement, operations) for financial clarity.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce. 4 to 6 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in a B2C company (Retail, E-commerce, FMCG, or D2C). Strong knowledge of Tally, Zoho Books, or other accounting software . Proficiency in MS Excel, financial modeling, and reporting tools . Solid understanding of GST, TDS, and other tax regulations . Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
B.com /M.com/ MBA (Finance) would be an added advantage. Experience in handling financial audits and liaising with auditors.
