Job Summary:
The Senior Executive - Accounts and Finance - is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and supporting financial reporting and analysis. This role requires strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting and Bookkeeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and trial balances.
Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile bank statements, and maintain cash flow records.
Financial Reporting:
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Generate reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Support budget preparation, variance analysis, and financial forecasts.
Compliance and Taxation:
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
Handle tax-related activities, including GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory filings.
Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies during audits and assessments.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Ensure internal controls are followed to safeguard company assets and maintain financial integrity.
Collaboration and Support:
Coordinate with internal teams, such as procurement, sales, and HR, for financial transactions and reporting.
Provide support to the Finance Manager and other stakeholders in financial decision-making.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred).
4-6 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a corporate environment.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations, taxation, and compliance requirements.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle confidential information.
