The Senior Executive will be part of Global Control Assurance Team based out of Bangalore and will work closely with the Manager to support and provide services in development & maintenance of a robust control framework to strengthen the control environment. She/he will need to collaborate across multiple groups of stakeholders (Group Finance, Global Functions, Regional & Market Finance teams) and will have to manage the delivery of key tasks in relation to monitoring & reporting instances of non-compliance, discuss failure controls & agree on remediation plans including close monitoring to ensure their closure

Key Responsibilities:
Support the Reporting manager in the design and implementation of standardised and consistent control compliance KPI dashboards towards improved compliance
Support in the preparation of KPIs to identify quality issues, areas of risks and action plans required and support the Regional Finance teams in remediating areas of non-compliance,
Monthly review of balance sheet reconciliations, acting as a subject matter expect to provide practical guidance to markets on how to perform best practice reconciliations.
On an ongoing basis, discuss failure of controls (from internal audit, external audit, or direct control assurance testing) with the appropriate local, regional and/or group stakeholders and agree and monitor remediation actions.
For agree management actions plans, ensure they are followed-up in a timely manner to mitigate risks to an acceptable level.
Share findings, concerns, and recommendations with local/regional/group senior management and other key stakeholders as required
Respond to special requests from the Board, Audit Committee and Risk Committee
Manage ad hoc requirements and projects on control & compliance areas
Collaborate with multiple teams including Group Finance, Global Functions, Regional & Market Finance teams, etc
Professional Skills
Qualified Chartered Accountant with 2 to 3 years of post-qualification experience in Internal Audit / External Audit / Risk Advisory / Controllership
Proficient in technical accounting and IFRS. Knowledge of US GAAP would be preferable
Advanced user of Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint & strong presentation skills in terms of dashboard preparation
Knowledge of SAP BPC (Business Planning & Consolidation) and Blackline tool will be an added advantage.
Strong communication skills (verbal & written). Able to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, across different regions and levels
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Demonstrate high level of responsibility and commitment to the assigned activities.
