Our Mumbai fulfillment center plays a crucial role in delivering excellence and delight to our customers, and were now looking to strengthen this backbone of our operations.

Handelnine Global requires a Team Leader- eCommerce Operations, for our E-commerce division.

We run e-commerce sites across multiple categories, in India, the United Kingdom, European Union, Australia, Singapore & Canada - with more Global sites coming up.

The Team Leader will be responsible for managing a small team of operations executives and ensuring smooth daily operations, while driving process improvements and efficiency.

Responsibilities include:
• Lead and mentor a team of executives handling daily purchasing and order fulfillment tasks.
• Allocate and monitor daily workloads to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Purchase products online based on orders received, as displayed in our internal software, while guiding the team to follow best practices.
• Track, manage, and update all purchase and order data accurately in Excel/Google Sheets.
• Identify efficient and reliable vendor websites, optimizing purchase costs and delivery timelines.
• Analyze weekly KPI reports, highlighting:
• Purchase mapping
• Missing purchases
• Delivery delays
• Team performance metrics
• Process improvement opportunities
• Conduct regular team reviews and training sessions to improve accuracy, speed, and decision-making.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage escalations promptly.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to all operational KPIs, including delivery timelines, sourcing efficiency, and team productivity.
• Propose and implement long-term process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational issues.
• Report progress, challenges, and solutions directly to the Operations Manager.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
• 4 to 7 years of experience in eCommerce operations, purchasing, or a similar role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory/team leader role.
• Strong team management and leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and motivate team members.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, including:
• VLOOKUP & HLOOKUP
• Pivot Tables
• IF conditions, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, and other advanced formulas
• Data filtering and consolidation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure, team-oriented environment.
• Graduate in any discipline.
• Prior experience in global eCommerce operations.
• Experience with sourcing, vendor negotiations, and cost optimization.
• Ability to multitask and manage escalations efficiently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A proactive mindset with ownership of processes and outcomes
