What this job involves:
The Senior Facilities Manager will provide comprehensive facilities management services for the assigned commercial and properties, hard and soft building services management, and service contract and budget management.
A snapshot of the role:
Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory authorities and good engineering practices in relation to maintenance of the property structures, façade, fittings, finishes and services.
Ensure certification is obtained from relevant contractors and consultants for all essential services and the timely preparation of the annual Fire Safety Statement or other relevant documentation as stipulated by the local authority.
Ensure compliance with Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety requirements including contractor induction, the preparation of site-specific risk management plans and safe work method statements.
Conducting effective and efficient management of all property services and other works required to be carried out within the properties.
Regularly inspect the assets and infrastructure to determine the extent, priority and safety aspects of any repair works required.
Co-ordinate specialist contractors to ensure they comply with their contract terms and conditions and nominated scope of works.
Ensuring implementation, maintenance, and data upload of the JLL and client specific computerised Planned Preventative Maintenance System, incident management systems and other information databases

You’ll possess a strong understanding of base building facilities management.
You enjoy taking the lead, are confident and able to work autonomously as well as in a team. You are resilient in the face of challenges and thrive on solution finding.
A demonstrated ability to prioritise work within tight operational and financial deadlines.
Use, promote, establish, and implement any, and all technology-based systems to gain operational efficiencies for the portfolio.
A positive approach to meeting client’s needs whilst managing tenant expectations.
The ability to empathise with tenant needs and a demonstration of a good customer service ethic will be expected.
An ability to comfortably communicate with people at all levels.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent organisational & administrative skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Tertiary qualifications are desirable, but a Trade Certificate and existing customer/facilities experience will be favorably considered.
