Senior Finance Analyst

JOB PURPOSE
As a trusted finance partner, you will use your finance expertise, connecting seamlessly with your Business and Finance colleagues, to provide commercial finance support, influencing decisions or strategy to deliver bottom-line benefits. You will ensure the main cost drivers within Design, Supply Chain and Product Business Units are analysed and aligned to forecast / budget expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop strong and trusted partnerships with key budget holders within Supply Chain Business Unit teams
Provide effective monthly management reports for key budget holders and Finance leadership team
Review variances and provide analysis when necessary
Manage and track costs for Opex and Capex spending. Undertake regular update meetings with key stakeholders to ensure existing costs and new developments are in line with budget
Manage the Budget and Forecast process, ensuring accurate uploads and reporting
Monthly cost analysis vs forecast and budgets, with analysis on key cost drivers
PERSONAL PROFILE
Qualified accountant ACA/CIMA or equivalent
Strong analytical background, with a good attention to detail.
Strategic thinking and problem solving.
Ability to build rapport and trust.
Ability to interact, advise and challenge stakeholders
Strong influencing and negotiating skills.
Commercial and retail mind-set – ability to interpret business requirements and prioritisation.
Proven business partnering skills
Strong financial and commercial acumen
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders with limited financial background
