Job Description: Senior Finance Accountant
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Finance Accountant with expertise in payroll, taxation, budgeting, compliance, and overall financial management. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of our organization by overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Management:
• Manage and oversee the complete payroll process, ensuring accuracy, compliance with tax regulations, and timely payment.
• Handle payroll reconciliations, reporting, and address any discrepancies.
• Implement and maintain payroll systems and procedures to improve efficiency.
Taxation:
• Ensure accurate and timely tax filings, including corporate income tax, VAT/GST, and other applicable taxes.
• Provide guidance on tax planning and strategy to minimize liabilities and maximize compliance.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and ensure their proper application.
Budgeting And Forecasting:
• Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Analyze budget variances and provide actionable insights to management.
• Collaborate with different departments to gather financial data and support budget planning.
Compliance And Internal Controls:
• Ensure adherence to all financial regulations and standards.
• Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Conduct periodic reviews and audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Financial Management:
• Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and cash flow management.
• Prepare and present financial statements, management reports, and financial analyses to senior management.
• Support strategic decision-making with financial insights and risk assessments.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or similar certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Strong expertise in payroll, taxation, budgeting, compliance, and financial reporting.
• Proficient in accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills.
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, standards, and tax laws.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
