Using our Salesforce technology stack including Zuora, NetSuite & Tableau, you'll record, evaluate and interpret financial data to identify gaps, trends and areas of improvement which actively make LEAP even better for our people, clients and communities.

What You'll Do
As LEAP's newest Senior Financial Accountant you'll take ownership of financial processes in an environment that's fast-paced with lots of variety. You will work in an established, centralised finance team to oversee the preparation of monthly financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. There will be vast exposure to all things finance at LEAP - a complex group of entities - and bags of opportunity to get involved in your areas of interest. Your day to day might look like this:
Preparation and Analysis of Monthly Financials
Preparation of monthly P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and supporting reconciliations
Review of local and overseas financials, including KPIs and commentary relating to management accounts
Actual to budget analysis
Tax
Prepare relevant returns for income tax, BAS, PAYG, FBT, and payroll tax.
Assist with the preparation of other tax returns in conjunction with the Group Tax Manager
Assist with the preparation of R&D returns in conjunction with the Group's R&D advisors
Annual Audit
Satisfy relevant interim audit and year-end audit requirements
Address any items flagged by the Audit & Risk Committee for consideration and resolution
General
Carry out special projects or tasks required by the Head of Investments and/or Financial Controller
Continually improve internal controls and processes.
Facilitate and promote team-work mentality.
Ensure that existing processes and procedures align with Group policies
What You'll Bring
You'll need at least 5 years of accounting experience, along with:
Accounting qualifications - degree qualified, CPA/CA
Understanding of accounting standards, audit requirements, preparation of financial statements, management accounts, taxation, and general reporting
Strong analytical skills for interpreting financial data and trends
Proficiency in using Excel and other data analysis tools
We use Netsuite and experience here would be beneficial but is not essential
