Senior Accountant – US Accounting
Job Description:
A leading global services firm is seeking a Senior Accountant with deep expertise in US GAAP and hands-on experience managing accounting operations for US-based entities.
About the Role:
• Oversight of end-to-end accounting operations for US-based clients/entities, including monthly/quarterly/annual closing under US GAAP
• Lead and supervise a team of accountants; manage work allocation, performance reviews, and training
• Review and finalize financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger activities
• E nsure compliance with US accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Qualified Accountant (CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent)
• Candidates with M.Com or MBA (Finance) and strong hands-on experience in US Accounting (minimum 3+ years) may also be considered
• 8+ years of overall experience in accounting and finance
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role in the finance and accounting department
