Senior Fulfillment Associate, Legal Invoice Review - Wolters Kluwer - USA - work from home job

Job description: As the Senior Fulfillment Associate, Legal Invoice Review, you will audit electronically submitted legal fee and expense invoices submitted by law firms and vendors of our clients. Then make adjustments to invoice line-item entries, where those line-item entries violate provisions of the relevant billing guidelines and then document the justification for such adjustments. You will report to the Manager, Fulfillment, with a remote work from home option.
Essential Responsibilities:
Review legal invoice entries, document adjustments to invoice line items, identify and document the billing guideline violated and the rationale for the amount adjusted.
Verify the compliance to legal billing guidelines by law firms and vendors submitting invoices.
Confirm the accuracy of the UTBMS task codes (Fee, Activity and Expense codes) applied to invoice line items.
Communicate and calibrate with the Legal Invoice Analyst and Quality Assurance Analyst team members.
Learn the electronic legal bill submission and auditing software.
Provide guidance to department partners regarding issues or opportunities within the LBA process.
Qualifications:
Education:
Minimum: Paralegal Certification or Bachelor’s degree in a legal related discipline or equivalent work experience.
Experience, Knowledge and Tools:
Minimum Experience: 2 years of experience in a legal services or legal auditing environment, including:
Experience with legal billing processes.
Knowledge of legal terminology, of claims legal situations, and multijurisdictional exposure.
Experience with the federal and state rules of civil procedure.
Proficent in using Microsoft Office applications in a business setting.
